Agony (SOLD)

$15,000.00

(SOLD) Agony is a 2016 Hanoverian/Thoroughbred cross (registered AWSSR) bay gelding. He is presently 17.1 hands (measured on a stick), and we believe he will mature at least 17.2 hands, though very likely more. He is extremely quiet, sensible and loves people, and for this reason, we believe he could be an excellent an adult amateur horse in a variety of disciplines. He is currently walking, trotting, and cantering under saddle and is always quiet and sensible. He is great indoors or out in the jump field. Very calm, fantastic brain, loves people. He is sired by Ilios, a Hanoverian/Thoroughbred cross. Ilios is sired by Well Said (Aptitude -- Few Choice Words, by Valid Appeal), a Grade 3 stakes placed winner. Well Said is out of a mare who produced multiple steeplechasers and multiple stakes winners. Well Said is a paternal brother to the CCI***** horse, AP Prime. Ilios is out of the Hanoverian mare, Sidnae (Salieri -- Cavalkade, by Cavalier). Sidnae competed through the preliminary level in eventing. Salieri is the sire of the dressage Olympic gold medallist, Salinero, as well as the Olympic show jumper, Seven Up. Agony has straight legs and teeth, excellent feet, big bones, and a fantastic mind. He is sound and healthy, current on all care, and is very friendly. He has been raised in a large pasture (45 acres) with a dozen or so other horses, so has had a lot of natural exercise and socialization to set him up for a sound, productive life.
