SOLD - Albus is a 16.1 hand 3 year old draft cross white gelding. Albus is the kindest, most sensible horse we have. Though he’s only been under saddle for a few months, we already consider him one of the most steady and reliable horses on the farm. At shows we pull him right off the trailer, tack him up, and get on; no prep needed. He’s been to four shows with us, and at one of those, he ambled calmly around the entire show grounds with our 71 year old non-horsey dad leading him. At another one, he hacked by himself for over a quarter mile from the parking to the arenas, never turning a hair. Due to his age, we’ve only jumped him a handful of times, and then it was only over small crossrails, but he has shown us he is a brave and honest jumper. He is schooling training level dressage, and at his last show, won both of his tests in good sized fields at the intro level! Albus has a naturally balanced and smooth canter that will be very easy for anyone to bring along. At shows EVERYONE notices Albus and says he is so beautiful! Albus has good ground manners and is extremely engaging. Lives inside during the day and outside at night. He’s an easy keeper, super simple to have around, is sound and healthy, and has great feet and legs. Still has growing to do but is already a very solid horse. No vices, good manners, simple to keep. Bathes, ties, cross ties, loads and stands for everything. Albus is a great prospect for so many things!
