Duke is a grandson of the Irish Thoroughbred, Sadler’s Wells, who is not only an extraordinary racehorse sire, but an excellent event horse sire, too. Duke is is easy to put together and is schooling leg yield, shoulder-in, and haunches-in. He jumps 2’6” to 3’ courses. He has a great eye to the fence and an easy lead change. He has schooled cross country through the novice level and competed at a few starter trials at the elementary level. Duke is a blast to ride; he is energetic, sensitive, and keen to jump. We think Duke would love to be a jumper, but could also continue being brought along as an eventer. He is sound and healthy and current on all care.
