Music of the Night (SOLD)

$18,000.00

SOLD - Music of the Night (barn name: Matador) is a 16.1 hand 2013 registered Thoroughbred black gelding. We bred and raised Matador for the sport of eventing, and so he has never trained for the track or raced. Matador competed at the BN and Novice levels at rated events in his four year old year. He is a gorgeous jumper with a great eye for the fence. He has an easy/auto lead change. He is extremely easy to put together and has a very good connection in the bridle. He schools leg yield and shoulder-in very well and has a very balanced canter. He has extremely smooth gaits and a soft mouth. His personality is very in-your-pocket and he loves any attention he can get. He is a puppy dog to handle. He has big bones and fantastic feet; they are pony like in quality, and he has never worn a shoe! He is not an ex-racehorse, and thus, does not look like an ex-racehorse. Many people ask us what breed he is at events, and without fail, they are shocked he is a Thoroughbred. He does all phases in a plain snaffle, plain noseband. Though he has been eventing, he is quiet and would also love to be a hunter or a lower level dressage horse for an adult amateur. He is sound and healthy and adorable!. Located in Augusta, WV, 1 1/2 hours west of Washington, D.C. 309-376-2144
