SOLD - Gustavo 188 is a 15 hand 2011 black Morgan gelding. Gustavo has evented through the BN level at starter trials and has shown some in the local jumpers and schooling dressage shows. Gustavo was an Amish driving horse until early 2022 so has had a late start undersaddle. He came to us in bad shape and a very nervous guy. He is trusting people more and likes attention. He is a very forward and sensitive ride that always wants to go. He will jump up to 3’ with scope for 4’+. He jumps anything you point him at and is a clean jumper. While we have been eventing him we feel he could also make a fantastic jumper. He is rock sound, healthy and has no vices. You can ride this guy anywhere. He is not spooky and has never offered to buck. He needs a rider that can do a solid half-halt and likes a very forward ride. He settles down each ride but has spent his entire life being told to trot as fast as he could so he gets worried when you ask him to slow down that he is being “bad”.
