SOLD - Huey is a 17 hand 4 year old draft cross bay gelding. Huey is a very kind and hard trying horse. Huey has several months of foxhunting experience (2nd field) and has gone to a few Starter Trials with top ribbons. Huey works training level dressage and jumps around courses up to 2’3”. Due to his height we have not jumped him larger as he is likely to grow more. Huey is a lovely, flat kneed mover that floats across the ground. Huey seems to really have been born to foxhunt but he is also a really nice jumper and could continue eventing or even doing the hunters. He has never offered to do anything bad and always gives you 100% try. He is a rock star on the hunt and has even led 2nd field! Car safe, great about water, cows, other horses, etc…. Huey was used as an Amish field horse for a summer and fall before we got him so also drives perfectly. He ties, loads, stands for grooming and tacking up. No vices, good manner, easy to have around.
