Marcelo 060 is a 15.2 hand 2015 bay gelding. We got Marcelo out of the kill pen 4 years ago; he had been an Amish driving horse that was thrown away to go die. Since we got him he has developed into an mazing horse with a huge amount of talent for dressage. Marcelo has shown through the 1st level at NOVA dressage shows and is often the “high score of the day” horse. He is schooling 4th level and has super easy laterals. He is starting on his canter pirouettes too. Marcelo has so much sitting power from the hind end and his front end is just as fantastic! He truly is a super mover. The comments from the judges are always extremely positive. Marcelo has jumped a little and likes it but I have really just focused on dressage with him. Marcelo is extremely sweet and is a great book learner but he is very timid. He was not treated well by the Amish though and must have a rider that will love him and be there for him. He does want a rider with a still leg, but he does require leg. My ideal rider for him is a petite young professional looking for a horse to produce up the levels in dressage. I will be super picky about his new rider and home! I am only selling him because we have so many homebreds starting to show and they get priority over other horses. Marcelo is ROCK sound with no maintenance needed. Great feet, goes barefoot. Good ground manners, ties, bathes, loads, trailers, etc….. Currently turned out all night and in a stall during the day.
