SOLD - Sol is a 15.3 hand 9 year old Belgian cross palomino gelding. Sol was an Amish cart horse that pulled a produce cart to town his entire life until we got him. Sol is is working basic dressage and going over small fences. He has been hauled to VA to exercise hounds with Blue Ridge Hunt and he has hunted with Snickersville Hounds. He is a perfect hunt horse! This guy is so safe and reliable!!! He is great indoors or out. He has never offered to buck, bolt, rear or spook. He is just a safe horse with a very kind heart. He is good to ride both indoors and out. We have put all levels of riders on him and he takes care of all of them. That being said he is a forward horse but not a runaway by any means, he was just made to trot as fast as he could pulling a cart so he thinks he will get in trouble if he does not trot forward. He is starting to settle and relax but he needs a rider that can half halt for the first lap or two. He is a naturally safe horse. Sound, healthy, current on all care. No vices, easy to have around. Stalls and turns-out. Price will go up as training increases and he starts showing.
