SOLD - Spec is a strawberry roan 15 hand 2014 registered Appaloosa mare. Spec is extremely personable in nature, and before I acquired her she was used as a trail horse and due to this she will quietly walk through ( and step into) ditches, water crossings, water jumps and the like without hesitation. Her previous owner took her out to cattle sorting/roping events, and since I have attained owner ship I have taken her out to schooling hunter shows, cross country schooling's, combined tests, jumper shows and starter trials up to the beginner novice level, ribboning everywhere she's gone. She also shows talent for dressage, with unusually elastic, rhythmic and easy to ride movement. She is a lovely, quiet, and fun ride. Has a natural clean lead change that is very easy to get in an outdoor arena ( have not yet schooled them indoors). Excellent ground manners both on and off the farm, ties to trailer quietly alone or with friends, stalls and turns out, does well in a herd and currently lives in a mixed group of about 25 mares and geldings. Barefoot, fantastic feet. Always happy to see you when you go out to catch her, and over all a joy to have around. She would make a lovely adult ammy foxhunter, eventer, hunter, or dressage mount. No vices, sound and healthy.
